How long have you been in business?

Winter Illuminations has been open and operating since 2007, we are BBB rated A+ and have over 200 satisfied customers.


Do you carry insurance?

Yes, we carry liability insurance and are able to add a rider for commercial customers, when requested.

Installation

Will you install my lights?

In most cases, no. We rarely will install lights that did not come from our company. This is due to the lack of knowledge regarding quality, age and overall condition of the lights.


What do you do when the customer has gutter guards?

We will need to know that in advance, as well as the roof style so we will have the correct style of clips available to make your roofline design clean and in complete alignment.


What is included in the service?

We include all timers, clips, extension line, bulbs and wire to properly, safely and seamlessly install your lights. The lights are purchased on your behalf, we will then install, maintain, takedown, store and warranty your display for as many years as you would like.


What do we need to do once we approve the install?

With installation, we do not require the homeowners to be on location, just that the front power outlet be in good working function. If you wouldn’t mind testing the outlet before scheduled installation, we then simply install the project with the outline discussed and afterwards I send a quality check email for satisfaction and spot check assigned work each week. The installation crews are reliable and fastidious; there are occasions with weather, etc. that dictate the installation of all lighting displays. We allow them to complete the jobs as efficiently as possible and give them a three day window for which the set installations are completed. We hope this meets with your satisfaction as this is the simplest process for all involved.

Will you install my lights?

Do you offer a warranty?

Yes, our incandescent product line is fully warranted for three years of seasonal use and our LED products are warranted for five years of seasonal use.

Can we choose any colors and does it change the price?

Because of the commercial product we use, the customer can have any design of color they would like, we personally have a display with ‘one green, two clear, one green’ on our home. There is no price difference on color, only on Incandescent vs. LED.


What colors are available?

All colors on our products page are available to us and can be interchanged at client preference.


What products do you use?

We have access to LED or incandescent products in a multitude of sizes, but our preference is to use C-7 for residential and C-9 for commercial. (See below for bulb size images) The larger bulb is quite visible on homes during the day which is why we prefer to use the smaller option; there is no cost difference for incandescent. We use 18-gauge wire for residential installs purchased from a local vendor, all commercial-grade.

Scheduling


When do we need to call for proposal?

Our commercial proposals come in all year and larger installs can take weeks to install. All of our previous year customers are called in September for scheduling and we initiate new residential customers the beginning of October.
